Marchigiano, born in 1990, Luca began his career by working in the tourism industry and collaborating with numerous hospitality facilities in the local region. After receiving his degree in hospitality, he continued his education, attending the Linguistic Mediation school which led him to work and travel all throughout Europe.
In Burgundy he came to understand that wine is “pure emotion” and that it would be a fundamental part of his future. He became a professional AIS Sommelier and subsequently acquired a level 3 for the WSNET. In 2016 he joined the team of Il Pagliaccio.
In 2017 he became a Certified Sake Sommelier for London’s SSA, and in 2018 he was named the Best Sommelier in the Lazio Region by Mangia & Bevi. A year later he became “Chevalier” for “L’Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne” and was included in the list of the best sommeliers under 35 in Gambero Rosso magazine.
